The original golf course was laid out below the Penryn Park Mansion and was played through and over the deep valley and hillsides on this historic property.
Opened as a 9-hole Scottish links course, the scenic Port Hope Golf and Country Club has gone through a number of transformations since its inception. The following is a brief history of the course as presented to Golf Digest as part of the application for “Remodel of the Year Award”. The report is presented by Jason Miller, Golf Course Architect.
