The final drive must find the tree-lined fairway chute that leads to a wide-open landing zone. From here, you carry the pond to a raised green, back dropped by an enormous hillslope. Lake Ontario allows one last glimpse to warn you of the winds that may be swirling at the end of this valley.

The approach is a thrilling challenge: play to the right and have the slope feed the ball onto the green, thus avoiding all the troubles to the left. For those who can carry onto the putting surface, beware the deep swale that lies hidden beyond the green.
